The double bed and bunk bed were comfortable, and having a private bathroom with a shower was definitely a plus. As someone who enjoys a laid-back beach vacation, I felt right at home in these rooms.
I personally would have liked some more modern amenities in the room. But hey, that's just my preference, and I know others might appreciate the simplicity and rustic charm of Filippus Vakantiehoeve.

The rooms at Filippus Vakantiehoeve were simple but cozy. I loved the comfortable double bed and bunk bed, perfect for a group of friends like us. The private bathroom with a shower was a great bonus.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the simplistic furnishings in the room, but that's just my taste.

At this cozy rural retreat, you can wake up to the sound of friendly horses and enjoy a delicious, homemade breakfast made with fresh local produce. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with friendly hosts who offer horseback riding lessons and allow you to groom and ride their horses. It's a great location for families, with plenty of delicious dining options nearby and a peaceful, beautiful surrounding environment.
The smell of the stables might be a bit overwhelming for some guests.

I had the most unforgettable experience at this countryside accommodation. Waking up to the sight of the horses and their surroundings was truly magical. The owners of this place went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and even gave us horse riding lessons. The location was perfect for exploring nearby cities like Bruges and Ghent. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was amazing. Despite the minor inconveniences of no air conditioning and limited wifi, I highly recommend staying here. I'll definitely be coming back if I'm in the region!

The rooms at Filippus Vakantiehoeve are simply-furnished, but they have everything you need. I loved the cozy double bed and the bunk bed, giving me options for a good night's sleep. The private bathroom with a shower was a big plus too. As a vegetarian/vegan, I appreciated having my own bathroom so I could ensure it is cruelty-free.
Not a fan of the overall simplistic design, but that's just my personal taste.

The breakfast experience would have been even better with complementary shower gel and shampoo.

The owners were so friendly and welcoming, true animal lovers. We had the best holiday at this farm. Sleeping above the animals was such a unique and enjoyable experience, despite the lack of air conditioning. And let me tell you, the breakfast was out of this world! They served a generous plate of various meats, homemade jam and cheeses, accompanied by delicious rolls and raisin bread. Fresh fruit juices and strong coffee topped it off! Plus, the location was perfect, with lots of tasty dining options nearby. And the farm had the most amazing homemade ice cream, yum!
It's important to note that this is a farm stay, catered to families, so it's not exactly like a hotel room. considering you're surrounded by animals, in a beautiful and peaceful environment, and close to many delicious restaurants, it's exactly what you would expect.
